A New Zillow
Our customer experience should surround the home journey with a reassuring sense of possibility and joy.
The Zillow brand was dated… years ago. Through customer feedback and our own analysis, we assessed what parts of the brand system we're intrinsically Zillow and what parts no longer served a new vision. We landed on a visual approach that saw a modernized logo, a vibrant new color palette, a real and relatable approach to photography, illustrations that provided moments of delight, a flexible motif that reinforced the concept of home, and most importantly a product that gave a beloved service an optimistic experience. In the end, we took the Zillow brand from "corporation" to "aspiration".
This work was done all in-house and marked the largest partnership between product and brand creative teams. Rolling out in phases, the completed overhaul will be live sometime mid-2025.
